No. It would cause a HUGE international incident. You can't just walk into another country and take it over when their leader dies.

The Cuban people wouldn't stand for it. The international community and the U.N. would never stand for it. It would be a step too far for the US to take, and I think people would come down heavily on them.

EDIT: as it is, in Cuba everyone is guaranteed a living wage and good quality FREE healthcare. The US doesn't provide these things. I really don't understand why Americans seem to be so anti-Cuban when the US is so riddled with inequality and hypocrisy.

if we make a cursory look of the histories of the so called socialist countries, after the death of their popular dictators, their countries embraced capitalism .china after the death of Mao, Russia after Stalin and Slovakia after Tito. i don't think Castro's brother can resist the American forces as the USA made sever attempts through CIA to assassinate Castro. another thing is recent finding out of oil in that country. no body knows after the death of Castro the % of people who support his brother.

no..for 2 reasons..
1)Bush thought that he could swallow Afghanistan and Iraq but they choke him and they swallowed him back..
2)Castro's brother is exactly like his brother and he will follow the same steps

no but i would be a fact that life for cubians would be increase 200 % if they adopted a "democracy" and co operated with the US.
