I don't think there's a single crap Johnny Depp movie, except perhaps "Nightmare on Elm Street" - but then he was really just starting out and he didn't play the lead, so we'll forgive him... My favourites are Dead Man, Sleepy Hollow, What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Ed Wood and Chocolate...Brilliant acting by all the cast, great script and both genuinely fun.
Do wish he hadn't made secret window, as you can no longer say that Johnny Depp as never made a bad movie...

What's Eating Gilbert Grape was a sad but moving movie. It was one of his first, and I think he did a great job in it. His Pirates of the Caribbean movies are a perfect way to establish his individuality in the acting field; he really comes into his own in these films.

All Johny Depp is a great actor I love his acting in every film he is in. You really can see that he gets into his role completely, every single time, with excellent results!

ALL OF THEM!!! but especially edward scissor hands for something moving. if ur after scary sleepy hollow is good. Don juan demarco is the sweetest love story and 'fear and loathing in las vegas' is... odd. He has a few r rated thrillers. pirates of the carribean is good for a laugh. he has a whole range of genres and dozens of movies it depends on the type of movie ur after

gotta be the pirates, his scriptwriter even confessed he didn't know how exactly Jack Sparrow is like (although he created the character), until Johnny came and portrayed Jack Sparrow. Simply stunning.

Yay I love Jonny Depp. My favs would be; Fear and lothing, From hell, blow,Ed wood, secret window,sleepy hollow most but I like all his moves. I like him cos he chooses dark movies and non comercial movies.
