I think it's crazy to assume that men only want one type of girl. I'm a curvy and petite girl. 5'1, 115 llbs. (which is a healthy weight from what I understand). I think I actually look heavier. The way people judge my body bothers me considerably because I live in China (sorry, but a country obsessed with ultra-thin women).

I would say that living here with my body has caused me considerable stress because most of the men here are very open about their negative remarks. Shouts of "hey pig" and "young mother" are an everyday occurance for me. I can't help it that I'm made this way. I'm not to blame it they look my way.

That being said, I don't think the way for us curvy women to gain confidence is to dog on slim (steering clear of that ugly word "skinny" which implies unhealthy and it's not always true, just as being curvy doesn't mean that I overeat).

I try to think of it like this. Some people prefer the beach and some prefer the mountains. They are both beautiful. Just as slim and curvy women are both beautiful.

There are some things we can't change (without cosmetic surgery that is), but we can try to take care of ourselves and eat and exercise. In my mind, that's the healthiest thing we can do.

Some men will try to impose a certain standard on women based on what they think is attractive and insult (in China, openly with loads of disrespect) a woman who doesn't meet that standard. It's also wrong. You can't tell a tree to become a blade of grass and vice versa.

Anyway, I think the most ugly trait in both men and women is insecurity. That's what leads us women to trash each other and a lot of times turns men into misogynistic jerks.

When i was in my teens i preferred a skinny women but now im in my mid 20s i prefer the curvey. Y???? Because when you put yor arms around a curvy women... you know its a real women!!!!

Plus its nice to have something to hold onto lol

Why does the eye and the hand rarely match in what they like?

The feel of those curves, soft, warm, movement ...

mean while back in reality; if I explained it probably would make no sense to you, the hypothalamus was created before the frontal lobe so reason in left experienced than feelings and emotions

I prefer curvy with skinny............Because, without curvy having heavy skin also not to good for in future, and without skin, only curvy also not preferrable, better having both in middle so happy either way.

I much, much, much prefer curvy women as I like a woman to have some sort of shape - I think its much prettier
