I don't think most Americans are anti-anything. We don't vote, don't protest, and are too lazy to get up from watching TV to bother with worrying about other countries or people.

Currently, we have a very conservative party in power, much further from the French on many issues than Clinton ever was.

I like everybody, unless they are bad. Do you live in the mountains of France? I have always wanted to ski the French Alps!!

It's impossible for a WHOLE country full of people to be one thing or another. It just appears to us Americans that the French hate us, but most wise people in this country know that it isn't the whole truth. It's just some loud mouthed people in France who say bad things about America, just like some loud mouthed people in America say things about the French.
Personally, I love France! Modern cuisine was invented there, and I am a chef who has learned a LOT of things the french did in my field of work. They also have the best wine ;)

I thought you guys gave 'em the statue of liberty, supported them in their war of independence against the Brits.
Americans love the frenchies too, after all, Roosevelt decided to launched the normandy landings because he felt that a nation with over 300 kinds of cheese shouldn't be left in the hands of the german. The average american either love the idea of romance in paris or french women but with the good wine, perfume, and good food it's a no surprise that deja vu is a french word.

not all of them, everbidy has their own opinions. Even in Iraq, Iran and lebenon, there are people who love america, and in America and the UK there are many people who hate America.

The ONLY thing that the French, as a nation, are entirley united on, is the fact that they are French.

Just like any other nation.

I don't believe that the french as a whole hate us. I think that most of them are not happy with this current government administration.

Well not ALL of them. I went on leave in uniform in France, and met some very nice people, and a lot of real ***holes. 'Course, I get that at home in the US too.
