There are numerous parasites and predators of cockroaches, but few of them have proven to be highly effective for biological control. Wasps in the family Evaniidae are perhaps the most effective insect predators, as they attack the egg cases, and wasps in the family Ampulicidae are predators on adult and nymphal cockroaches (e.g., Ampulex compressa). House centipedes, however, are probably the most effective control agents of cockroaches, though most homeowners find the centipedes themselves objectionable. Preventative measures include keeping all food stored away in sealed containers, using garbage cans with a tight lid, frequent cleaning in the kitchen, and regular vacuuming. Any water leaks, such as dripping faucets, should also be repaired. It is also helpful to seal off any entry points, such as holes around baseboards, pipes, doors, and windows with some steel wool and some cement or putty. Once a cockroach infestation occurs, chemical controls may help alleviate the problem. Bait stations, gels containing hydramethylnon, as well as boric acid powder, are toxic to cockroaches. A simple homemade Vegas cockroach trap is reported to be successful

contrary to popular belief cockroaches are not dirty insects. There are more bacteria on your hands than in or on a cocky, they are fastidious self cleaners and that's there weakness! Apart from exterminators or toxic chemicals the simplest home remedy is to mix Borax (available from any druggist) and cocao or icing sugar and sprinkle it in places where they feed or hide. Apart from eating the lethal mixture, if they walk thru it they die when they clean their feet. Told you they had a weakness, and you thought keeping clean was good for you!

pests like cockroaches only stay in the places where there is much food for them. it can be in the leaking drain of your sink; at the sewer pipes; in the trash bins where food is being dumped; or maybe because of the left-over food of your pets.
employ good housekeeping techniques.
hope this helps.

X-14 will mame them. The blue stuff you clean the toilet with kills em quick. To keep them from coming back, pour a cap of pure bleach down every drain once a day.

THERE ARE MANY TYPES OF ROACHES THAT ACT DIFFERENTLY AND ARE NOT CONTROLLED IN THE SAME MANNER. FIRST IDENTIFY THE COCKROACH, GO TO WWW.TERMINIX.COM AND GET THE FACTUAL INFORMATION ABOUT ROACHES. AS THE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR OF A LARGE NATIONAL PEST CONTROL COMPANY, I CAN TELL YOU THAT MOST OF THE ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTION I HAVE READ ARE A BUNCH OF BS.

It's easy on the wallet too. They actually become immune to roach bombs and spray. They eat it for lunch, morping them into some kind of animal that will carry away small children and pets!
