Usually men do that to keep stringing you along as a backup until "something better" comes along and to keep you from forming any new relationship with another fella.

Best way to get over him and on with your life is to not be around him and to tell him that. If he wants to be in a relationship with you, he will make the effort to be with you; if not at least you know and won't be wasting anymore of your time and more likely to keep your options open to a new relationship.

It really depends on how deep is your relationship at the moment. He could be taking you for a ride by not being committed but still having access to you as and when he likes. I have to admit that guys usually are quite selfish and would want to have the best of both worlds. The best way is to either have a heart to heart talk and find out for yourself what he really wants or keep a distance and see what happens. Hope things will work out the way you wanted

That depends on what he is getting out of being around you. Do you mean hanging out, talking, what? Its hard to say anything with only this information. Often times people try this though and what they are really trying to do is give up their obligation to the relationship while holding on to part of it at the same time. Mostly it just confuses things and keeps people from really getting over it and moving on. Its sort of like a safety net, they want to venture out in to the world but want to keep a line attached just in case things aren't as great out there as they think they will be.

I have heard of people breaking up and then still being friends, both parties have to be really mature though. I am still friends with my ex-girlfriend, the one I lost my virginity to. We don't talk everyday like we used to, but once in awhile see how each is doing. She's with another man now, I sort of am with another woman.

Men have a tendancy of looking at some women as people they just want around for fun and not for a long time commitment. In other word his booty call gal.

Thats a guy being selfish..But i really think he's just saying that but does not really mean it. Just move on and tell him that you cant be his friend just yet. Maybe when you dont feel anything for him, you can accept the offer and start being friends:)

Its 100% abnormal. Get away from from that as soon as possible. Even avoid even just seeing him.

He could mean big trouble for you. Beware.
