No, not at all, it changes, but not for the worse, unless the relationship isn't right.

any relationship is what you make it, we've been together for 8 years now and we are still silly with eachother now and again and always hold hands when out and about.

A honey period can last four months, or 4 years. After the initial getting to know each other period, you begin to feel comfortable around each other, as you know each other well. When this happens, more time and effort needs to go into the relationship to keep the spark, romance (if there was any to begin with) alive. I think Milly summed it up well in "it would go by how much you want to put into the relationship".

No way! Obviously you're not going to rip each other's clothes off everytime you see each other forever, but it doesn't mean you're together out of convinience.

It's exciting in the beginning because you're just getting to know each other, but as time goes on, you know each other inside out and you're relationship becomes deeper.

After the honeymoon that's when you have to start working at keeping your relationship alive. Its hard work but well worth it, friends first, lovers last, Iv been married for 10yrs and if you don,t work at it all the time that's when it gets boring and just convenient like a pair of old comfy shoes.

It would go by how much you want to put into the relationship.
I met my man about 4 and a half years a go, and we are still on our honeymoon lol
I think it takes a lot of effect and communication and of course passion and romance : )

Often yes; sometimes no - the honeymoon period can last "until death do us part". (Happily married and still overheels in love after 40 years.
Good luck with your future.

I think they get too comfortable with the way things are and things soon become stagnant. Keep the waters moving to keep things growing. Once you stop, the water may dry up.

No. You both have to make things happen, keep the relationship spontaneous and exciting, bring your part and you will never suffer from routine.
