I've already heard of TMPGEnc, but I've also heard it can be pretty dangerous to your system. Someone also suggested TMPGEnc DVD Author, but that `is not' free. I've also tried www.download.com, www.freewarefiles.com, www.afterdawn.com. There was also a suggestion to try www.cracks.vg, but that proved fruitless too. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
PS. NOT `FREE TRIALS', as I need completely FREE

DIKO will convert avi to DVD and is free, get DIKO free from downloads.com.
I don't know of a free author program.
