I love Michael Jackson and all his songs but il have to say, "They Dont Care About Us". :)

Billie Jean has not always been my favorite song. Only recently when I stop singing the lyrics and pay attention to the melody, the bass, and strings that I truly appreciate the song.
The song has a message and a pretty creepy one at that. Billie Jean is said to be this groupie that was obsessed with Michael. She would constantly send him letters and packages. One day, Michael received a letter that stated that he was the father of her child. With that letter was a picture of her and the baby.
Michael was pretty persistent that this wasn't his son. Although, the more he thought about it, the more he actually thought that this might be his son.
Hence the lyric in the song, "...the baby's eyes were like mine... who will dance, on the floor, in the round?"
Even in the video, as Michael dances down the long street there are three photos that you see of Billie Jean. She is the girl on the left.
Michael was so distrought that one day after receiving a package with a weapon saying that he should kill himself at a certain date and time, Michael framed Billie Jean's picture to always remember her.
"Billie Jean is not my lover, she's just a girl who claims that I am the one... but the kid is not my son."

I have a lot of childhood memories in connection with Bad and Smooth Criminal and a lot more from the 1980s, but Dirty Diana is my current favourite of all Michael Jackson songs.

Lady In My Life, off his Thriller album. I also like Man In The Mirror, and the one he did with Janet, Scream. And Thriller, ESPECIALLY that guy's laugh at the end!
I also like Show You The Way To Go when he was with the Jacksons. And his solo Living Off The Wall. I can't really pick one favorite.
