If you could choose when and how you died, would you?

yes, i would be old and happy after seeing my children grow and have happy lives of their own, i would be sat in the flower gardens in the park with my hubby holding me and i would just fall asleep in the sunshine with the love of my life beside me

I i could choose I will die if :
1)I have much more good deeds than bad deeds
2)I have been rich enough and can give alms for the poors and orphans and participate in buliding schools and mosques
3)I have a fruitful knowledge or science which can be inherited to the next generation
4)I have a happy and loving each other grown up family and they become a sholeh and sholehah or virtuous person
If those goals have been fulfiled I am ready to die at any time in good way or khusnul khotimah and not in a bad way such suicide
or not in a right place.or right manner.

I would like to die peace fully in a bed knowing I have completed everything I ever wanted to do in my life , and served a nice life and long life

but to god only god knows how our death is , I mean we still can never hope it the way we would, I mean people are quite healthy and yet die instantly for no reason , so just pray, that you death is never really a pain ful one and always be good so good things will come your way

There is no 'If' about it. The truth is that you can choose how and when you wish to die already. It is called suicide.

I personally think about ending this miserable existence every day and one day I will.

When? I think winter is my favorite time of year, so I would probably do it in the springtime as I hate the summer.

How? Well, I am still researching this and there are many humane ways to do it as far as I can see.

i would definitely not do either. it would just keep me from living every single moment. even a simple " i want to die in my sleep" means that i wouldnt be able to go sleep at all, coz i'd be wondering if i'm gona die. as for the time....once chossen i'd be waiting and looking towards it and not experience the here and now but the there and then. also i would become terribly afraid as the time drew nearer!! so heck no!!

I don't really mind as long as i don't feel any pain and i have all my faculties if i didn't well enough said about that. At the moment i am young i have my health so so i have a young happy family so i prefer not to think about my death.

I would certainly want to be given the power to decide when I should die if I had a terminal illness. I would not want to linger on in pain and distress, but would a quick and painless death
