I am a nurse, with excellent skills and think there is a market for home care, where do i start other than registering a business name and getting an ABN

Check out the competition, what they charge, how easy they find it to get staff etc. Ideally, work for one of them for a month or so to get a feel of the business, and decide how you would do it differently.

hi! first u have to know that the work with people especially with problems is a hard thing. u have to be a real specialist in psychology & human behavior.
second step is to find 2 or 3 persons that they want to join u in that kind of work.the tasks will be diferend & is good for everyone that`s join u to be prepare for anything or they can have a situation that they can`t manage & that mean loosing clients.
