My skin is so dry on my face that it peels and flakes in patches, especially on my eye lids (weird). Also if I use any thing not for sensitive skin it burn like heck. My face is also very red. I moisturize and moisturize, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions? Remember this is all my face.

You may have eczema; you should consult a dermatologist. Here's something that may help give relief: Put handful of regular (not instant) oatmeal in the foot of an old clean sock. Tie off the top and soak the sock in a pan or sink of warm water. Squeeze water through the sock a few times; the water will turn milky. Use this water on your face--just keep wetting your face with a washcloth. When you've had enough, pat damp dry and then put moisturizer on. Oatmeal is great for softening skin. Aveeno Lotion has it and that may help, too.

It's obvious that you've sensitive skin type. So DON'T use any products which are not for sensitive skin.
Here is what you can do to help your skin from getting dryer:
1. Dun wash your face with warm (or even hot) water. Because the warm/hot water will wash away your natural oil on your skin. It'll make your skin gets dry more easily. Just use normal-cold water.
2. Dun use washing soap/foam/gel/any other washing agents so often. Because it'll also wash away your natural oil on your skin.
If you feel dirty, just use normal-cold water as often as you want. Nothing bad'd happen.
3. Try to use VASELINE. Not Vaseline for body, but Chesebrough-Vaseline (I dunno if you have it there where you live). This Chesebrough-Vaseline contains Petroleum Jelly, which helps to keep skins moistured. It contains no parfume or preserving agents. So it's a natural help for the skin.
4. Drink more water, take vitamin E.
5. If none of these could help you, then you should go to a skin specialist.
Hope I could help you a bit ^o^

use masque!
those specially for sensitive and dry skin.

appear lotion everytime u go out, buy lotion with higher spf.
wash ur face with facialwash but not many times a day because it can make ur skin dryer. oso, washing it with water only will oso make it dryer AND oiler.

thats becuz the face will think that the face is too dry and thus excreed(sp?) oil. and by using water to wash ur face, the moisture in it will be "washed" awae too.

u can try to use a diff product too, diff moisturizer. find out frm their ingredients used, diff ingredients do diff things.

hopes this help. cheers~

best thing is to c the doctor & let the doctor recommend as different people have different kind of skin texture....never listen to what other people said coz the stuff they recommend may suit them but it may not be suitable for you
