Is it ok for 16 yrs old to sign for paypal account??

No,
Don't take this offensively but I don't believe that somebody your age should have such a big responsibility.
Only someone who is mature enough to know how to handle something like that should be able to have a paypal account.
I do not have one because I do not believe I am not mature enough to handle something of such big responsibility yet, and I am 20.
Please don't take this offensively, I don't mean it to be. I am just being honest and saying what I believe

You might have to be over 18 but if you have a bank account you can use that and then confirm you bank account by entering the amount they transfer into it. I would read their terms and agreements to find out if there is an age requirement. I believe I signed up when I was 16 but I had a checking and savings account already and they were still pretty new back then so maybe they tightened up their requirements since then?

legally no, you have to be over 18, but im under 18 and i found a way to get on there without PayPal knowing that. Just make sure you dont fill in the stuff where they ask for ur S.S. number or then u are screwed.

i dont think youll even be eligible unless you have a credit card and are 18 yrs of age. when your eligible though, id recommend it if you use ebay a lot. i do and having paypal is a lot easier than waiting 2 weeks for a money order to get to someone. just my take.
