Here's the rundown. My mother is a fraternal twin. She has two half-sisters that are fraternal twins as well. The two half-sets of sisters share the same father. Will my wife and I have twins?

Science has not actually linked having twins with a specific gene but they do believe that if you have twins in your family that you have an increased probability of having twins yourself. However, you may or may not have twins. If you do things that are likely to increase your chances like taking fertility drugs chances are good that you will and if not you have about the same chance as anyone else. We don't have any twins in my family but now my cousin found out she's having twins. It all depends on myosis and fertiliztion!

I've heard that twinning skips every other generation, but that may be just folk wisdom. You never know until you try!

You have much questions in this topic! You can hardly wait for your baby, can't you?
Genes which are responsible for have twins have to be in your wife's genome....
But nothing impossible.
I am wishing you so much happiness with your baby or babies.
