People always get bored of wearing the same style everyday. Also, celebrities always start new trends. So basically, I believe it's the media.

personally i wear what i want to wear, but i think fashions change just like the way people change, sometimes people change because they want to be a better person or look nicer, or feel good about themselves, fashion is a way to do this especially with help froom the media, i feel there's some sort of pressure on some people to follow the trends, wearing whats hot and new and hip is cool and fun but if you dont show yourself in what you're wearing, then you're a fake,more or less, because you're doing what people say you'll look gud in...most of those people dont even know you .so sometimes i think fashions change because people want to hide stuff, and because celebrities obviously have everyones attention they're the best people to commercialise these 'mew fashion trends' which could be they're grandma's old dress worn with a pair of jeans, and oversized sunglasses cus dey dnt wnt any1 to spot them or something, even dey dont look good people think they're celebrities so they must be right.they're so many reasons. another one could be that the same way people like to make life more of a luxury and live a good life the same goes with fashion, clothes have reached a whole new level where its not just about covering yourself, fashion now is more of an impressing weapon...but i think its ok if u follow trends, because you can show your individualism through new trends.fashions change because of the merging of cultures as well, which i think is on eof the biggest reasons....which is actually a good reason.i could go on and on and on.

Because most people are gullible, wannabes with no fashion sense of their own.
Its how the fashion industry thrives, by imposing a concept onto the masses, and by manipulating the media - so that people who want to fit in with the "IN" crowd, will look like they are with the trends. Thats how we get serial wannabes of every texture and flavour imaginable.

Fashion styles repeat themselves every 30 years. That what was taught in my Fashion Merchandising class.

as the times move on, society begins to realize just how bad they look, and they begin to try to change their image. the thing is, everyone concerned with fashion has no real sense of identity, independance, or self respect...so many of them dress alike and form cliques.
those of us who dont care about fashion laugh at the rest. the only real reason for clothes is to protect you from the elements and to keep you safe from scrapes, bumps, heat, cold, etc.

Cuz that's the fashion...
In my opinion, that's because of Stars..People have the feeling which they wanna follow and when they follow, they think(or we think.,,?)they are getting closer to the Star(s)...
Yeah..,,blame the media..
