does anyone know if you have to have a colpscopy done if it may just be that you have cancer or if it most likely means you have HPV (human papilloma virus) and if it is HPV is it related to herpes or does it mean you have herpes?

Colposcopy is a microscopic examination of the cervix used to diagnose potential abnormalities of the cervix (opening to the uterus) and vagina. It is usually recommended following an abnormal Pap smear test and to select the best area for a biopsy if needed.

HPV is genital warts. These are often undetectable microscopic warts that are sometimes hidden inside you in the bumps up there. I have had this procedure personally and it was no big deal. Now if you have had painful sores on the outside of your vagina just like a cold sore that IS herpes most likely. If you had a pimple like sore it could be either an ingrown hair or it could be syphilis. You could have all three at the same time, but most likely you just have HPV. They aren't related to each other except that they are different STD's. HPV is a sexually transmitted disease, but it is the most common. I have read statistics to the effect that 80% of women have this by the time they are 50. HPV is the leading cause of cervical cancer so you have to follow up on this.

If you catch this early you can have an easy procedure that freezes off the warts before you get cancer. I had that too. Make sure you talk to the doctor about any kind of abnormal feelings or symptoms down there and get tested for all the other STD's.

A colposcopy cannot tell you which strain of HPV you have. That is a special test called a "Pap with DNA" which may be performed on any tissue collected during this exam. Also, someone shouldn't tell you you don't have herpes unless they know for darn sure because you could have both if you have had genital pain.

Also if you gave oral sex to the guy who gave you genital warts they could be in your mouth too.

I've had Herpes problem over 3 years. I tried everything, of course I went to the DR. about a hundred times, probably not that many, but it sure seems like it. It never did any good for long and caused all kinds of other issues having to do with taking too many antibiotics. It wasn't until I stumbled upon the information on this site http://herpestreatment.kyma.info that my life changed completely.
I'm feeling so much better now and all of my symptoms are totally gone. I haven't had an outbreak since using that info. Best news: It works even if you’ve already blown hundreds or even thousands of dollars on conventional herpes medication without significant relief…even if you’ve been suffering from herpes for years, and even if your virus is currently in hiding and your doctor claims nothing can reach it.

I know it can work miracles for you if you just let it. See more: Shocking video reveals why Herpes/Cold Sores meds are dangerous

No, herpes and HPV are NOT the same virus and have nothing to do with each other. They are very different and have very different symptoms. Herpes is caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). The herpes simplex virus causes cold sores (oral herpes), genital herpes, chickenpox, shingles, and many other illnesses. When a person says "herpes" they are usually referring to either cold sores or genital herpes. Herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 is responsible for BOTH cold sores and genital herpes. However, cold sores are usually caused by herpes simplex virus 1, while genital herpes are usually caused by herpes simplex virus 2. Cold sores appear on the lips and the inner corners of the mouth. They do NOT appear inside the mouth; these are usually canker sores. Genital herpes causes large blister like sores on the genital area. These sores can open and puss. They then scab over and heal. HPV (Human papillomavirus) is the name of a group of viruses that includes more than 120 different strains or types. More than 30 of these viruses are sexually transmitted, and they can infect the genital area of men and women including the skin of the penis, vulva (area outside the vagina), or anus, and the linings of the vagina, cervix, or rectum. HPV can cause genital warts which are usually small, flesh colored and do NOT puss. HPV can also cause cancer (the most common being cervical cancer). BOTH STDs are spread by sex (vaginal, oral, and anal) and by DIRECT skin to skin contact. They can also be spread to a baby during birth if the mother is having an outbreak of either virus.

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 5 years back, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I know lots of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/1dl6a everything got better.

Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the hsv from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a packed cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This system provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.
