motivation is to let somebody WANT to do something and excited to do it

make a competition , where you can win a little bit of money , promotion or power, staff looooooooooove a bit of competition to be the best, the less frequent you have this competition the more exciting it will be ( for example dont have the old boring "man of the the month" competition, have it as "the man of the quarter") this will keep them wanting to be the best all the time and everybody wins :)

There is only one way to motivate staff: pay them more...especially through a bonus or incentive program

If you are a manager, you have to really care about the business first, and entrust good honest people to do the job. Let them know you trust them, it's the little things that count.
