I've seen a lot of answers that just say "I don't know". That's makes no sense, why answer a question just to say that you don't know the answer?
If you don't know the answer, just don't click the answer this question button.

See, its like appearing for an examination.Whether you have learnt the subject well or not, you have to answer the paper, right? This forum is also like an exam, only, its very addictive. Once the finger goes on the answer button, the mind does not want to leave untill the answer is typed. when nothing comes up, the "I dont know" gets the 2 points.

I saw the answers, there are some "i dont know" there. The best answer is from: shelly place!

it's all for points. there are some people in here that are only answering questions for the points. answering "i don't know" is an easy way to make 2 points with only putting in the most minimal of work. what's really sad is that these people don't seem to realize that the points mean nothing. it'ss all just a way to keep track of your community activity.

Well they do it for the points. I just don't understand what these points will achieve. So you have 600 points, so what, are you gonna get a cookie? Some people are here to help others, Some are here because they were sold on the commercialism.

1. They are stupid.
2. They are dumb asses.
3. They are lazy.
4. They only want the easiest way to collect points.
5. Did I mention they were dumb asses?
6. They are morronic retards with nothing better to do than heckle and waste other people's time.

If you ask me I try to give my opinion and try to get back to the question to see how relevant my answer was. But I sincerely do not support people answering for the two points they get. This platform is to exchange experiences/views/ideas/opinions and not just to get the two points.

Basically it is free speech, plus people who are answering are free to answer even if they really dont know the answer.
it is just like fishing, who want to get the bait, will go bite it.

Well, why do people ask questions that no one can answer? Who knows why people type I don't know?
Why do people ask stupid questions?
Why do people even answer any questions?
Why do we even both to read 'answers'?
Why are we here?
Why are you here?
I don't know

Good question!
Luckily i'm not one of those "i don't know" people.
But here's another question:
Why do people give you such cocky answers sometimes?
Personal opinion: They have got nothing or no one to satisfy!
