If you're looking for an audio microsystem and you have a broadband Internet connection, check out Philips’ innovative Streamium MC-i200.
If you want to see what the bookshelf stereo of the future will look like, Philips' forthcoming Streamium MC-i200 is a good place to start. It includes traditional microsystem features, such as an AM/FM tuner and a CD player, but raises the stakes with the trio of Internet-radio reception, MP3 CD compatibility and playback of any MP3s on your networked PCs. The first microsystem to offer full-blown DAR (Digital Audio Recording) functionality, the £399 (inc. VAT) Streamium MC-i200, which should be available in the UK by the beginning of November, is a harbinger of things to come.

I've got a Iriver H320 ( 20 gb ) that has a radio and a line in socket so I can connect say a tape recorder/cd player and record direct to my Iriver in mp3 format then rip them to cd if required.THe fm radio can also be recorded on the hard disk.
THe only problem is it's not as user friendly as the Ipod but u get used to it.Also I got mine about 2 years ago so I would imagine it has been superseded.Check out www.iriver.com.THey also did a H340 which is a 40gb version...
