I'm satisfied with life because I learned a long time ago, through observation, that not being satisfied induces depression, unhappiness and even bitterness. I believe that satisfaction = happiness. You know the saying, 'Happiness means wanting what you have, not having what you want.' How very true! Even so, why should life satisfaction and happiness be so important in our lives; why should we be so self-centred as to expect this? Let's just get on with 'being', and pray that our brothers and sisters living in one of the countries being torn apart by war, famine, or both, will be delivered from their hell.

I'm not ecstatically happy with life. If that's what you're asking. But I shouldn't expect to be, with all of the pain and suffering that life affords us. If this were the only life that I had to live, then the answer would be no, I'm not satisfied. Yet, because I believe that a life of satisfication awaits the end of this one, with a promise of eternity and no pain and suffering, I accept this life as a journey to an awaiting paradise. So yes, I am then satisfied with the obstacles that i face each day.

yes, I'm satisfied with life because I'm an optimistic person. I can look at my life and see the negatives but on the bright side, I don't have cancer, I'm not living in poverty or hunger like many people in Africa , I have rights unlike women in places like the middle east, and I can go on and on with the list...it's just good to be alive in general, so I'm satisfied.

Satisfied with life mean no use of living it further. ..i.e end of life. Everyone may like to claim satisfied with life just to satsfy others. Disatsfied Socrate was probaly better than a satisfied fool. One may like to give in to feel temporarily satsfied.

Yes!! I am.
I'm satisfied because:
I have been granted a human body by the GOD (not of any animal)
I was born & brought up in a well cultured family.
God has given me a healthy body.
God has given me good friends, relatives and caring people including my employer.
I married to my childhood freind, who has given me evrything which I could expect from her.
I have two little children : one daughter and a son.
I take control on my requirements, ego and anger.
I do not have much expectations.
I get everything from GOD whatever I pray to him to bless me with.
I wish all the good wishes for you too.

Yes, up to an extent but there are still some desires in life which form a part of our long term plan which will be fulfilled in due course of time.
