Try the BBC's 'Learn English' site. It might help :)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/index.shtml

or the British COuncil's 'Learn English Online' website might also be of use.

Yeh, I did pass chemistry in high school (secondary/senior college) and although it was in the eighties I remember that I didn't study English in Chemistry. Good luck with that though, and practice will make perfect OR maybe the good Lord will bless you with wisdom (& knowledge). As for a site, maybe one of the other respondents might know, sorry.

u can visit sites like "mylanguagexchange.com" or go to "japan-guide.com". in japan guide go to forums and choose freinds. u can choose a freind of your choice from english speaking countries and learn english from them. however, one suggestion, dont study grammar too much as u can never develop your english that way, instead try reading some english books.
