Allright Boys and Girls...I do, have a drinking problem....I get drunk almost,,,,,,well actually daily....anybody want to be a long distance friend to help me back to sobriety?

The question is, do you really want to quit drinking? If you do, go to AA. I hope that you will quit. I broke up with a boyfriend because he wasn't willing to even try to quit drinking; he thought he was healthy. His parents buried him this year. He died of liver failure at the young age of 43. Not many of his friends that I had known were at the funeral. I guess they were all ill or dead too because they were all alcoholics too. That is really a big key to quitting - you have to get away from your drinking buddies. Good luck to you!

you need a close friend who can spend a least 4-5 a day with you and keep your mind off the booze. AA works for some. REALLY. It helped my stepson and he was a mess. He also got a girl who was a serious drinker and they are on the wagon together. They also got religion.
