Family guy is funny, but as The Boys From South Park demonstrated so brilliantly in a recent episode, Family Guy derives its humor from random bizarre jokes and sight gags that usually have nothing to do with the plot, and could be thrown together by a clever computer program, or even a big tank full of manatees with colored balls.
Family Guy makes me laugh but South Park makes me THINK and Laugh. Cool Q.

Well, Family Guy has never really been all that funny.... or very relevant to anything. And South Park has just plain run out of points to make to the general population. All of their crap is just a stretch now.
Either way, they're both dumbing down the people that watch them. There's no satire, intelligent humor, or anything really funny.... unless you like fart jokes. That's the extent of these people's intellect.

I have to say if I counted the number of times that I was rolling on the ground in tears laughing. Family Guy is in the lead.
