I'm 24 and married and for the last 7-10 days i've been feelin generaly yucky. My period was due yesterday and i put it all down to that coming. I've been feelin so sick yet as soon as its gone off which doesnt take long i'm starving hungry, but I can't stand the smell of red wine (which i love), makes me wanna be sick. I've been feelin tired as well but thats nothing unusual.
During my last period i was sick in the mornng so i'm wondering if it's all due to that. I did a pregnancy test a few days ago just to put my mind at ease and it was negative. I'm not on the pill but we have always had protected sex and have had no splits etc in the condom.
I had a few little cramps this morning but thats it really. Do any other ladies experience similar problems with their periods or is is just my freakish body???
I guess underneath i'm a lil worried i cud be pregnant but its not very likely as we havent had any known accidents and the home preg test was negative.

Yeah i often get hormonal symptoms when i am due my period like feeling sick, funny taste in my mouth etc Often i have thought i was pregnant and been wrong. You done a test a bit early so thats the only thing that would make worry about it being negative. A test really isnt reliable until your period is due as hormone levels arent usually high enough to detect. Do another test, if your feeling rotten due to pregnancy then i reckon it would definatly be positive so if you get a negative result again i reckon its just your period playing havoc with your body. Hope this helps xxx

If you don't get your period in a week I'd test again. I have gotten nauseous back in high school and for a few years after whenever I got my period, to the point I ended up staying home because I was so scared of throwing up at school. My horomones have changed since then (heck, I'm on my second pregnancy, so horomonal change is old news for me), so that might be the only reason why I stopped getting sick as PMS.

you can only do a pregnancy test from the 1st day of your missed period, not earlierr as the pregnancy hormone wont show up. try anouther test if you havent had your period in another day or 2. when i was a teenager, my period used to give me incredibly bad cramps, a high temperature and i was deathly white for the duration. when i went on the pill (which i did when i was 15 not for contraceptive reasons but to ease the terrible pains i was having on my period) they became so much more managable and hardly feel a thing now.

Sounds like you could be pregnant. But if you have always had protected sex and the condom hasnt broke then its highly unlikely. You could be coming on your period. I would wait a week and see if my period comes (its normal for your period to be a couple of days late, change in your cycle) but if it doesnt come in a week i would go to the doctor and take a pregnancy test. If you were pregnant it may have been too early to detect. i had a pregnancy test done on feb.1 and was negative. waited till my period was 9 days late went to the doctor(feb.23), and guess what i was pregnant. so its best to wait to see if you start.

From what you say, you probably aren't pregnant - but it's not impossible.

Periods have a strange way of not arriving the more you worry about them. So try to relax. If you still haven't come on in a few days - then do a test.

Incidentally, if you are pregnant, it's unlikely that it would cause you to feel sick this early on.

what you're feeling is usually felt by women who are into sexual intercourse. Try another pregnancy test after a week. If the result will still reveal a negative result, then consult an Ob-Gyne. You might have some problems with your reproductive system. Good luck! God bless

maybe u should wait a while to see if ur period comes. and if it doesnt for a week or so, then u should test again. but if its negative still and ur period still doesnt come for ANOTHER week then maybe u should go see a doctor. Good Luck

Go see your Dr or OB and request a a blood test. That is the most accurate the urine test.
