they showed this in special called secrets of wrestling revealed.The refree, usually when one of them is down...or the one wreslter which they decided shud bleed,gives that wrestler a smal sharp object....metallic...and the wretler cuts himself while pretending to hold his head orr...woteva.Sumtimes the object is with the wresler himslef.That's y the blood never comes out immediately..probably after 3 or 4 secs....and they even shif the camera...and then suddenly voila ther's the blood.

prior to there match they give themselves surface cuts with a razor blade, and then when they get punched or hit with a weapon bang the blood starts comin out and when your hot and sweaty as well the blood would flow out more too.

a lot of the time its just a packet of fake blood, but, id say about a quarter of teh time, they are actually cut open, its a sacrifice they make for the business and the paycheck

I always heard they wear a wristband or something else that they have a needle in to cut themselves with.
