RAM is hardware, not software... it can't be downloaded since it's a physical component.
RAM = Random Access Memory.

you should have something like that ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Abit-kt7-large.jpg ) in your computer, you have to plug the RAM in it. In that picture there are 3 RAM slots to plug ram into. At least one of them should already be taken by the ram you already got.
you can get RAM at your local electronic shop. (be sure to take the correct model of ram)

RAM is Random Access Memory, memory is a physical component of any computer so no it may not be downloaded, you may buy memory from any computer stores. Just make sure you buy the correct type of memory that works with your system.

RAM (random access memory) is a hardware item, this comes as a soldered 'board' with small microprocessors on it, that you plug into 'slots' on the motherboard. you can upgrade, but not download any thing to increase RAM.

RAM is Random Access Memory. It can be installed simply (physically) on your computer using a guide found on google and such.
Check your motherboard manual/website on compatible RAM for your system.
