I stopped smoking cuz I need a job, but now I'm having problems.
I can't sleep . I even stayed up ALL night trying to make myself tired engouh to go to bed . For a couple of days I was having trouble driving because I couldn't paying attention (I drive better stoned , I'm not kidding) . Then sometimes I just space out and start thinking deep thoughts. But this not sleeping thing is a problem.

Geez are you sure you were on weed? If you can't sleep sounds like you were on coke instead. The only side effects I had when I stopped smoking weed was everything made sense again! lol. I think subconsciously you just think that all these things are bad now. Come on...how many times have you been driving down the highway and realized you were going 40 in a 55? You only think you're better on it because you're stoned. Trust me, you're not. Step away from the weed...it's no good.

All drugs affect people differently. Sounds like some kind of withdrawal. When your body is used to a substance in quantities for a period of time, your cells have to adjust back to normal. It's going to take time. It's going to suck. Sounds like the chemicals are getting in the way of goals (job, sleep, etc) which is a major qualification for addiction. Try Narcotics Anonymous or other programs for dependency.

In high school I had a friend who stopped using weed and he became a nice person again not the paranoid, uptight, aggressive and forgetful person he was while he was using weed.

not being able to sleep might not be a side effect of quitting smoking. are you stressed out or anxious? getting high could have eased that and now that you dont, its affecting your sleep. insomnia is its own thing, you might have been just self-medicating for it. some things to try are - drink milk before bed, avoid using your bed for anything but sleeping, if you find yourself lying awake, get up; try to figure out what's keeping you awake, buy a good vibrator and use that as a sleep aid...

You don't say how long ago you stopped, but all those things should stop after a couple weeks. try exercising before bed and reading a kind of boring book in bed to get to sleep.
