When did u or your wife gave birth? After 30 or before 30? I heard that for a woman giving birth after 30 cannot have a baby as healthy and nice and she has before 30..
So it's better to give birth before 30?Is it true?

Me & my b/f had a discuss on this.. He doesn't believe this. He said it is quite difficult to get married when i'm 26 yrs old(5 yrs later).. The earliest is 28. But i wish to get married earlier, so can have a child when i'm 28. I don't want to give birth after 30 after hearing this...
I will start working next year and he will go to University next year, so he will only start working when he is 26 years old..

After 30. We have two fine healhy children. But don't leave it too late after 30... you want to be able to act like their parent when they're older, not their grandparent!
There are two main factors affecting when the parents should have children:-
* The health and age of the woman:- from about 20 to 35 seems to be about the best from the age point of view and obviously the better physical health she is in the better. If you are planning to have children then make sure you eat a good healthy diet way before you get pregnant, including vitamin B12 (Folic Acid) which helps in foetal development and protects against problems such as Spina Bifida. Stress is also an issue and it's obviously best to pick a time in your life when this is at a minimum.
* The health and age of the man. The issue here is slightly different... a woman is born with all the eggs she will ever have and these are stored in the ovaries until released one per month during her sexually fertile life. Thus the health of the eggs is more-or-less determined when she is born.
With men, the sperm are produced throughout their sexually active lives by continuous division of the cells in the testicles. The more divisions, the more likely mutations are likely to creep in. This means that the older the father the more likely he is to have malformed sperm (decreasing his fertility) and/or sperm with mutated DNA which leads to an increased risk of problems such as Downs Syndrome.
So the ideal seems to be a woman of about 30 with a toy-boy of 18!

Personally, I had all four of my daughters before the age of 30, but know for a fact that it's perfectly safe to conceive and birth after 30. There are thousands of women that do it all over the world! Yes, some women are more prone to "high-risk" pregnancies after 30..usually after 35 really...but can still have a very safe, healthy, and successful pregnancy under a good doctor's care.My twin still doesn't have any kids, but plans to within the next couple of years...we are 32 yrs. old this year. There have been women as late as their 50's having children these days!!

It's best to give birth before 30 but 35 and after is the year when the risk of getting a Down Syndrome child is higher.

I gave birth at 17, 19, 20, and 21. Call me what you want, but I am glad I got my child birth out of the way. I think God knew something was going to happen to me. I was treated for endometriosis after the birth of my last child with birth control to lighten the flow with cramp medicine, then hormone pills to stop the periods all together, then moved on to a d&c and a thermal ablation. Due to the ablation I had to have an emergency hysterectomy because my blood vessels didnt clamp shut after the ablation. If I hadnt had my babies young, I wouldnt have any at all. Mine are all healthy except for one who has something called VSD (ventricular septal defect) and its just a small hole in her heart so she has a heart murmur and has to take antibiotics before any routine dental work when she goes in. I know of women that have been 30+ and given birth to healthy full term babies. My oldest is 5 and he was the only one I had that was full term. The other three were 36 weeks so I think it just depends on the family history and the mothers medical history.

Not true. Many people wait till after 30 to have children with no complications. But the perfect child bearing age is considered to be between 20 to 30. i think it is more of a social thing than a physical one.

LOL they never gave birth. Anyway I had minr before 30, it made things really hard but now i'm 42 and my kids are grown. It would have been better for them if I had waited though. I have friends who have had kids after 30 and knew one who had a child after 40, there were special tests done and extra monitoring but her daughter is just fine. I think maybe 40 is late but early 30's is fine.

I had one chld in my 20's and another in my 30's
I used to be an OB nurse.
Nothing wrong with having babys in your 30's.
We are healthier and living longer.
After the age of 40 there can be more complications.
But many women have sucessfully given birth to babys in their older age.
And being too young isn't a good t ime to have a baby. Birth weights and developmenatlly challenged\
Check with your doctor if you ahve any concerns

I gave birth to mine all before I was 30 and it didn't seem to change their health any different as I got older. They all came out very healthy. My mother had my sister at 31 and she was a very healthy baby. I would say it would probably get harder in your late 30's to early 40's.

Not true at all. I wouldn't want to wait too far beyond 30 but there are women having babies all the time now in their later part of 30's. As long as your healthy then its no big deal.

That's a bunch of bull s---. 30, 35, 40.... It depends more on the women's health. Does she lead a healthy lifestyle? Can she handle a baby at the age of 40?>???
Really it all depends on Mom, but there is no better or worse.
