What's the best movie you've ever watch that you can suggest to me?

I am having a girls/boys friday hang out and would like to play on a good movie among the other things we would like to do
(I plan to have barbeque, then we talk, then we watch movie)

What is the best movie you've ever watched that you can suggest to me? and please describe a bit of the movie

Moscow on the Hudson.... a great movie, starring Robin Williams.

It is a light hearted comedy with a lot of historical significance. Lot's of funny lines, scenes, and stories within the story.

A lot of serious issues as well.

A story for any occasion and one which will warm every heart.

I highly recommend it for the gathering such as the one which you are planning on holding.

Young Guns & Young Guns II

It will keep the guys happy there's lots of action, and I'm a girl and I like it just as much. It's got sarcasm in it and a good story line. I like Young Guns II better though. If time is an issue, watch the second one. I get pumped up just thinking about it. Good after BBQ movie. Adventure.

OR..... Chronicles of Narnia

Is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It's a lights out, good loud stereo type of movie to really get into it. My fiance has ADHD and it held his interest and that shocked me. He went out and bought it the day it came out (which he never does.) he liked it that much. It's got kids in it, but it is not a kids movie. The snow queen is impressive and she's the best "bad guy" I think I've ever seen. If you havn't seen the movie, the final pre-battle scene builds the tension to where you could hear a pin drop, and you hold your breath; it's phenomenal. It gets the adrenaline going.

sad movie, but i love it, it is called The Perfect Storm" is great and has lot's of stars in it. They all perish on the seas on a fishing boat, but a great movie for laughs and tears, hope you try it

i like anything with jim carrey, drew barrymore, adam sandler
i suggest something with action for the boys, and romance for the girls. maybe even a comedy. carrey and sandler make great comedies. i just love them. i like the pet detective movies with jim carrey. ace ventura (carrey), solves crimes that have to do with animals. finds lost animals. he is trying to solve the case of missing snowflake the dolphin for the miami dolphins and ends up solving the case of missing dan marino before the cops solve it. that is in pet detective. in when nature calls, he is searching for a lost white bat. and he helps a tribe. bruce almighty is good. fun with dick and jane is hilarious. big daddy, who can get enough of that. hot chicks is funny with rob schneider (how ever you spell his name). there is a wide variety of movies. oh, shallow hal with jack black about a guy who is shallow and this guy makes him see only inner beauty and he falls in love with a fat chick (gwineth paltrow.) it is a tough choice, i love movies of all sorts. it all depends on what your friends and you like.

1)Bandits (1997) not with bruce willis but Jasmin Tbatabai. it's about Four female cons who have formed a band in prison get a chance to play at a police ball outside the walls. They take the chance to escape. Being on the run from the law they even make it to sell their music and become famous outlaws.
2) Detroit Rock city - cool movie. Four members of a high school band called Mystery do everything they can to attend a KISS concert in Detroit. In order to make it to the show they must steal, cheat, strip, deal with an anti-rock mom and generally do whatever it takes to see the band that has inspired them to be musicians. Plays like a KISS advertisement but the GIV'R mentality leaves the viewer with a smile on their face.
3) Arizona dream- An Innuit hunter races his sled home with a fresh-caught halibut. This fish pervades the entire film, in real and imaginary form. Meanwhile, Axel tags fish in New York as a naturalist's gofer. He's happy there, but a messenger arrives to bring him to Arizona for his uncle's wedding. It's a ruse to get Axel into the family business. In Arizona, Axel meets two odd women: vivacious, needy, and plagued by neuroses and familial discord. He gets romantically involved with one, while the other, rich but depressed, plays accordion tunes to a gaggle of pet turtles.
#) hair-This movie, based on cult Broadway musical of the '60ties, tells a story about Claude, young man from Oklahoma who comes to New York City. There he strikes up a friendship with the group of hippies, led by Berger, and falls in love with Sheila, girl from the rich family. However, their happines is short because Claude must go to Vietnam war.

#) cheats- While other kids buy into countless hours of studying just so they can get a mark in some teacher's report book, Handsome Davis sees it as nothing more than a system of control over your mind. That's why Handsome and his three best friends Sammy, Victor and the cribsheet genius Applebee have banded together and found ways to cheat on their tests all through their school years. Everything had been going along smoothly until the gang entered their final year of high school and the stakes were upped by the school's principal, Mrs. Stark. If they get caught cheating again Stark will make a note in their permanent records and possibly kill their chances of getting into college. But can Handsome convince his pals to pull off one last, great cheat with him and outsmarting Stark and the system, even if it means possibly destroying their friendships?
