I will tell you what I saw when I "died" 3 years ago.

It was peaceful and serene. I saw all my family members and pets who have died before me.

Although I knew there were angels, I couldn't see them but I felt their presence. It was a wonderful feeling of peace and love that let you know they were there.

There were beautiful white and gold buildings. Lovely, beautiful full gardens. The air was heavy with the scents of flowers, fresh cut grass and fresh rainfalls - all my favourite smells here on earth. The air was also filled with the sounds of birds singing and heavenly music.

Everywhere I looked, I saw beautiful green, plush fields filled with every colour and species of flowers. The mountains embraced these fields and everywhere I looked I could see butterflies and birds. The sky was blue and filled with beautiful white, fluffy clouds and a rainbow.

The temperature was just right and everyone knew each other. I felt such an overwhelming sense of love that I didn't want to come back.

That is the heaven I want to get back to when it really is my time. Because of that experience, I do not fear death, but welcome it when the time is right.

I have no idea what heaven is like. No one really does. I fully recognize that the so called "Biblical description" is allegory and rhetoric -- heavily influenced by the fact that the authors believed that the earth was flat and covered by a dome (firmament) and that heaven was on top of the dome -- that's why the biblical figures ascended and descended and angels crawled up and down Jacob's ladder and why "god" got angry at the builders of the tower of babel -- for fear it would reach heaven -- remember?

We know that all of that is nonsense. Eternal life is, by necessity, on a different plane of existence. Time may flow differently, or if it is a higher order plane (from the fifth dimension, for example, time is almost certainly perceived as a solid. They would see us as solid objects with four dimensions from the 5th dimension, one of those dimensions would be time) then there may be no time parse.

These things are mysteries beyond our full understanding at this time. I am content that it will be wonderful.

Are you talking religiously? Well if you are, heaven would be full of angels and all is bright... you would be walking on clouds and everything is peaceful..
But if you're talking about another thing, the other thing, well, it would be just the sense of satisfaction that you recieve from the one you love and you wouldn't think of anything else when you're at that moment.. ☺

Ideally, it would be like a directed dream that never ended. I could be with the person I loved, play out different roles, finish every dream, eternally learn and observe amazing things, get the answers to every question I'd had while alive, and never get bored or lonely or afraid.

Perhaps what Belinda Carlisle said in her song: "Heaven Is A Place On Earth".

Heaven is a place full of love so if you find love here on earth, then that's heaven for you. ;o)

When I see my crush, she looks at me and our eyes connect even for one second and then she smiles at me... her eyes on me smiling... now that's heaven for me, as simple as that.
