They don't explain it, they just believe what the bible says. Since bible was written by somebody, they just trust whomever wrote it. What a gullible bunch of people. Maybe I should ebay my piss as God's piss that will cure all diseases.

First of all I would like to point out that the first science was religion, Christianity's roots lie in a man who tried to show how the invisible world molds the physical world. Yes, there have been those who have suppressed knowledge in the name of the church in order to beater there own lot in life but you must still remember where we came from. The average man of Christ time did not dicker on how many plaints there where or which spun around which. They where crafts men and farmers on the most part. The stores in the Bible reflect this. If you want to reed about what Christianity rely thought about the physical havens then you would have to look to there predeceases the Jews. the Jewish Qabalah has many interesting things to say on the topic of evolution and science. So before you make such sweeping generalizations I would ask that use your obvious intelligence to check things out for your self instead of spouting an uninformed opinion.

Well, at the beginning, God created everything. The Earth, Heaven, and other planets, other stars. Do you know Nicolas Copernic ? He's a monk and he said that: The earth came around the Sun. The Sun is the centre, not the Earth. Of course he believed in God, but he was still a scientist. Me too, I'm a Christian, but I like astronomy and I belive that universe is made by God.

Other posters explained the planets. I want to know who said Christians don't believe in evolution and science? First of all, it's kind of hard to disbelieve science (I disbelieve in gravity, I disbelieve in gravity... nope, doesn't work). As for evolution, plenty of Christians believe in microevolution, that is, mutations that create change within species, e.g. among humans: different racial builds, skin pigmentation and dietary tolerances. What I do not believe in is macroevolution, changes that create new species, e.g. the idea humans evolved from apes, fish, slime, etc. (BTW, Big Bang theory is unrelated to macroevolution life theory.)

Religion is a defunct set of myths that have no basis in reality. The problem is that a large part of earth's population are too stupid and too uneducated to realize this. Too many people believe whatever they're told without asking two simple questions, 'how' and 'why'. Unless I can get satisfactory answers to these questions then it remains a myth or theory, nothing more.

The earth is actually flat and any other view is heresy! Vatican or Kaaba is the centre of the universe. Sun moves around the earth... i mean rises in the east and sets in the west. God made us to see thus far... all other scientific rantings are actually ungodly inspiration from the devil.

Bible Genesis 1 says Bible God created stars and moons to shine in the light pls read Genesis chapter 1. Science cant create any thing they can only experiment and make something from created things by God. They can survey something thats created by awesome God because God has created man in his own image like him thats why human can do many things also try to find the real God. Otherwise we woild be like other animals who dont want fellowship from God. God has breathe his breathe in human when he created thats why its in every human that spirit. Pls read Genesis Chapter 2 also.
Also man can later find many things and survey ABOUT WHAT AWESOME GOD HAVE ALREADY 100percent CREATED. Mans wisdom is from God and man cant create anything

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1
The other planets could be included in the word "heavens," don't you think?
