This is our first time, trying to conceive. The First day of my last period was on the 12th July, but my cycle is sometimes irregular, so I am not sure how many days it is exactly. I used an ovulation calendar to rougly estimate my time of ovulation, and it was correct as I had all the ovulation symptoms. We had sex 3 times (27th & 30th July, and 1st Aug). The problem is that my husband didn't ejaculate (2 of the 3 times), but we still had intercourse. Since yesterday I have been feeling moody, having a bit of nausea, and been very tired, but the stomach cramps I've been having are not specifically in my lower abdomen but rather in my whole abdominal region (stomach as well). As you see, today is only the 3rd August which is way too early to do a pregnancy test (I did one, and it was negative), as it's not even time for me to menstruate again. Could these syptoms indicate that I am pregnant, even though it is so early?? And when should I perform the test to get the accurate result?

If fertilization occured, it will go to the process of implantation which takes place about 6-12 post ovulation (fertilization), usually on the 10th day.So you can get a positive pregnancy test 7 days after the ovulation (fertilization) as the earliest but waiting after 10-12 days will give better results. The result however mainly depends on the level of the hormone "human chorionin gonadotropin" or HCG (hormone produced by placenta after the implantation of the embryo in the uterus.) A significant percentage of women who are indeed pregnant will still show a negative result if the HCG remains at undetectable. Your HCG levels should double every 2-3 days and many women get negative HPT until the first day of a missed period or even a few days later. Doing blood test will give you more accurate results.
With regards to what you feel, maybe you are just exhausted physically and psychologically. Nausea will usually show up once HCG level goes up. Just be patient, relax, and be optimistic. As long as you and your husband are in good condition, you will get it in due time. Goodluck!

I understand you are trying to conceive........if your mentruation cycle is not regular then you have to be very careful. It's too early for you to take the pregnancy test......it can hardly detect yet any changes in your body, You may try the test again after a week from your last sexual contact with your husband, If it will still reveal a negative result...then give another week......and test again. However, you have to be very careful with your movements. Don't do any hard works because you might be pregnant. Take care! God bless!

Try and test yourself again 3 days before you next period. It is a little too early to tell if your "symptoms" are signs or maybe just a bad day but try again 3 days before and you should get an accurate result.

Not everyone has same symptoms. Its too early to say at this point. I would suggest, you check it the day you miss your period or two days after it.

I know its a very tough, testing time to wait and its a suspense thriller, since its your first attempt, take it easy and try to not think about it. Better you keep yourself busy.

Good Luck, Pray to God that your first attempt is a success.
