It depends on what kind of dance it is. Homecoming = Slacks a long sleeve shirt and a tie. Christmas = Tux. Sadie Hawkins = casual. Prom = Tux. Those were the four dances whe had when I was inhigh school and what we wore.

depends on the dance. if its a prom or homecoming then a tux. if its like some random dance then just normal clothes or something comfortable is good

you wear a tux to prom...anything else is whatever. people might dress up at homecoming a little (like a good button-up or something)...but i've never seen dudes wearing ties and slacks.
i mean i guess it depends on your school for homecoming. ask around.

Unless there's some sort of dress code, the guys are usually in jeans and tees, maybe even a polo or dress shirt.
