If you are In India i would suggest you to go for New Tata Safari , the price have been reduced & now it gives great value for money , the only problem i find is that the engine lacks power in the low cost version (2 L, 90 Bhp) the powerful version(3 L , 115 Bhp) is a bit expensive , else it is the best Indian SUV that will make u feel proud of when seen in front of a Landcruiser or pajero

We see a lot of Subaru Foresters on the road where I live. They're dependable little SUVs and seem to be able to go pretty much wherever their owners want to take them.

The fuel economy rating for the 4-cylinder Forester with an automatic transmission is 22/28.

You'll take a bigger hit at the gas pumps if you opt for the turbocharged Forester, in part because it requires premium gas. Fuel economy ratings dive too, dropping to 20/23 for the turbo charged automatic and to 19/24 for the turbo model with a manual transmission.

imy self would not by one, they are not very practical, and are extreamly bad on gas milage, and very uncomfortable,no leg room, when loaded with passengers and cargo they get even worst gas milage and loose power on hills and straight away roads, and use more braking power to slow down or stop.also there is not enough protection for yourself or your passengers,if you were to get in an accident.surviving a crash at 40+miles per hour would be a disaster, with very serious or fatal injurey,or even in many cases death.
