You can try a scare diminishing cream like Mederma, however an acne scar will never go away no matter what you do to it, unless you do something more extreme like a laser treatment. You should feel lucky you only have one.... I've seen people with huge craters all over their faces and it's not pretty.

Microdermabrasion has been known to reduce deep scar appearance.
Microdermabrasion can cost anywhere between 60.00 to a few hundred dollars, depending on what kind of microdermabrasion you use; at home product or visit with a dermatologist.
MaryKay Microdermabrasion kit is 55.00 and comes with a free skincare product gift. You can use it twice a week (preferably at night). The ingrediants and clinical test results are here: http://www.marykay.com/mpeters2014/skincare/antiaging/timewisemicrodermabrasionset/default.aspx

Professional microderm at a spa is the most effective. I have it done and results are very noticeable. It will require at least 8-10 sessions but I consider it as long-term investment.

Try vitamin e...take it orally per instructions on the bottle and apply it topically to the scar. When you start taking e on a regular basis, it helps heal you quicker and with less scarring.
