If you read Genesis of the Biblical scriptures, you will note that God made the first man and woman; God saw his creations were good and named the man Adam and the woman Eve.
In his infinite wisdom, God did not desire to have an Adam and Ethan; nor did he desire to have an Adriana and Eve. God made Adam and Eve to be able to go forth and multiply. He had already figured out this combination was correct.
In science, you will note that two positives of a magnet will repel; however, a positive and a negative will attract. Also in nature, you never see two male birds and two female birds. Even the animals know, it is the normal scheme of things to have one male and one female.
