I just looked at your last question and to me looking at them from the outside of the issue, I didn't think that the answerers were intending to be rude. It is often difficult to express yourself without coming over as condescending when using the written word.
I have never heard of 4H ( I hope that I have got that right) as I live in the Middle East so i haven't got a clue what it is.If you are in Europe or America you are probably in the middle of a heat wave and I can assure you from my experiences here that the sun and the heat really do boil the brain and make us all far more fractious and less sociable than we would normally be.
I think that they( the 4H people) genuinely felt awkward about the entire episode and rather than talk it through and get everyone even rattier in the heat, they shoved it all aside.
Carry on as if nothing every went awry and you will soon find common ground with them on other issues. Having to pay the money is a bummer; but put against your daughters enjoyment , which is priceless, it is a resentment I am sure a caring person like you can compartmentalize.
Hope you continue to have fun alongside your daughter.

I think a lot of it has to do with people having a tendency to criticize what they don't understand. I've seen this all too often in the Society & Culture category. My best advice would probably be, be careful how you word your questions; most of the people who repeatedly post insulting responses seem to pick up easily on "weak points" in the question. There are also a few categories in which it is very difficult to word a question and avoid insulting responses, especially when the topic pertains to sexuality, religion, politics, or anything that is/could be considered taboo.

I think you may be reading too much into the answers.

People are telling you that the best advice would be to just pay the ticket and move on.

Don't worry. It's all good. No one is insulting you, we're all here to help.

I wasn't insulting you. I was trying to help you understand why people may not have been responding to your previous question. If you want answers, people need to be able to understand what you're saying. Complete sentences with decent spelling and grammar, and a less disjointed way of putting it will make it easier to understand, and people will be more likely to try to answer it. Remember, when you're writing about something that happened to you, you need to explain it so that people who weren't there to see it will understand it.

In life there will always be good and bad people. Do keep in mind that there will always be good people that answers questions sincerely and those that are out to put sarcastic remarks for fun. Do keep on helping other people questions. They will be grateful.
