I was eating my lunch and a feeling came over me...I looked and saw somebody staring at me.
Can you tell when this happens?

Definitely YES! I can easily tell when someone is staring at me because it is extremely annoying, except for certain circumstances!

They say we can feel someone staring at us, because of our sensory perceptions.
Even if I don't see someone staring, I can always feel it and no matter how many times it happens - I'm still shocked when i turn around and actually catch somebody doing it. goose bumps!

yeah one time i was eating in a resturaunt and well i was talking to my sister and umm well i was showing her some sign language(deaf people sign language not flipping her off). and then we decided to just try and use sign language while we were talking. and people were staring at me and her while we were doing that dunno why though. so we just kept using sign language even more! just thinking maybe their eyes would fall out from staring! LOL! but yeah just make the person stare at you some more they should eventually get bored! LOL! unless they are a stalker. LOL! yeah but see i could not tell they were staring at me my sister told me they were so thats how i knew they were.

I swear I can feel their eyes piercing. Maybe it is some self defense mechanism, like a 6th sence. If someone is staring, you then know to be on guard.

Yea, I guess it's part of human nature. Staring back embarasses them as well.

Yeah. I can feel it when someone stares at me. Isn't that weird?? Typically if I catch them, I will wave!!

Yes... I think it is a survival instinct carried over from when we were preyed upon by large predators.

Yep, I can. There's always this uneasiness when someone's eyes are boring into you. It gives your spine some chills and you feel all your nape hair standing up. But that's just me. ;-p
