Anything that I can find a good reason to like. I'll listen to almost anything. The few things that I find myself not enjoying are what tend to make up Top 40 radio - overplayed tripe produced by hamfisted songwriters who know how to make an easy buck by tricking the masses into believing their unoriginal crap is good music. Also, mainstream and 'gangsta' rap. I can in no way relate to it, and it offends my tastes and offers no true aesthetic value for me.
Genres that I tend to enjoy most are:
Progressive, Post Rock, Alternative, Arty/Experimental Punk, Classic Rock, Classical and Romantic Era composers, and Jazz and Blues from all eras.
