anyone know what happened to HBOs' carnavale?

i saw the first two seasons and am waiting for the third,but i can't find anything about it.

they ended it..... don't get me started.... i was waiting for the epic battle between good and evil

The show, unfortunately, was cancelled. Supposedly it had low ratings.
