Most phones with decent prices require 2 year contracts. I want to find a phone, decent price or not, without a certain requirement or contract. HELP!

try a cingular go phone, okay price no contract.

If you already have a service provider.... EBAY is your friend just make sure you get the ESN (electronic serial number) before you bid/purchase the device and call your service provider to make sure it's able to be activated on their service.

There are many many other options if you don't have a service provider with pre-pay phones. You need to find one that best suites your needs in your area. In other words not looking here on the net. Stop into the local service provider shops and look at the signal strength on their live phones around your area that will give you a good idea of what you need to look for.
