I married one! This has nothing to do with rather you think they should be allowed or if they take your job....but do you like them? would you be their friend? I work at a store where I meet a lot of people from a lot of places and I will tell you something, they are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are very friendly (once they see that you accept them), very well-mannered/polite, and are just like anyone else wanting to find the good sales. They are very respectful and are very appreciative (especially if you are understanding with the language barriers) I am a native English speaker and I am a Spanish major. I love it when I can help someone from another country with my new language because it opens up doors. They no longer feel fear of rejection (for those who do not speak english) and when you can communicate with them are glad to be your friend and are such good people. Welcome everyone!!!!!! Some of the American customers could learn a lot from them.

You certainly has an open mind and loving heart towards them. Yes, we should always be kind towards them and not to the foreigners as well because I believe when we are in their shoes, we hope someone will help us too.

I always like to think about the maids we employ in our house, if we are the maids ourselves would we want our boss to mistreat us? Thus I always felt grateful I'm not in those difficult position.

And we should continue to be kind to others in hope they will disperse that goodness to others. Do we know that by being kind to those who are violent, we can better help them to turn a new leaf.

Cheers

I am all for immigrants. America is founded on the idea that anyone can come here and live their dream.

Though times have changed, i belive we can find a way to let immigrants in, while keeping out terrorists.

If they get the right education, I believe they are a credit to this country.

Married Eastern European. She's awesome.
Very accomplished, multi-talented and better educated than most Americans. Who could ask for a more perfect spouse?

Are you talking about the legal immigrants or the illegal ones? Those that come here for a better life and live productive lives or those that come here to be a burden to our society.

i think that immigrants are great...technically, i am one. i'm an international student from canada.

i think that as an immigrant, you need to make every effort to contribute positively to the country.

sometimes, especially recently, people are forgetting that the US began as a nation of immigration (and slavery and the killing of native indians)... ahh...needless to say america conveniently forgets it's past...how sad

but anyways, IMMIGRANTS are cool!

vote for pedro!
