I am supposed to get my period a week from today. For the last couple of days I have been experiencing nausea and light headedness that comes and goes. And a vague cramping sensation. I have endometriosis and get bad cramping with my period, but not like this. I had a miscarriage 2 months ago, and never even knew I was pregnant till it happened. So now I am nervous and want to take any precautions necessary in case I am now.

not having your period or amenorrhea does not necessarily mean you are pregnant... there are a lot of reason why a woman can get late... to be sure you should just do a pregnancy test. kits can be bought over the counter. even that you have to see a doctor to be sure that u are having a baby and not anything else. a positive in a pregnancy test can also mean a disease and not just being pregnant... you can get positive bHCG in h.mole.... nuff said.

I empathize with you, Dear. I also had endometriosis before, and I know how painful the cramps can get. The best thing to do is to see your gynecologist right away, so you won't have to worry too much and rack your brains from guessing what could be the cause of your nausea and lightheadedness.

Southern California Edison, our electric company, puts fliers in with their bills about the effects of EMF (electro magnetic fields) on the body. The scientists who have studied the effects do conclude that there could be a link between EMF and miscarriage. What this means to you is you will want to try to stay away from appliances that produce a high amount of EMF like the vacuum cleaner, can opener, hair dryer, flourescent lighting, electric clothes dryer... anything with a strong electric motor. God bless your journey.

assuming of course that you have had sexual intercourse in your recent past it is quite possible you could be pregnant. Given your stated history of a miscarriage i would highly suggest going to the doctor asap. Not specifically a OBGYN, if you have one that is fine. With your history i may be the difference in another inncident. Good luck and i hope everything turns out fine.
