Moral damages include physical suffering, mental anguish, fright, serious anxiety, besmirched reputation, wounded feelings, moral shock, social humiliation, and similar injury. Moral damages i believe are considered just to be common law.

i'm not sure what you're asking...but laws in the U.S. are based on morals...at least they used to be. morals and law are each a set of rules, the first one is optional, but many people choose to follow it because they feel it sets them up for success during and after life.
