Lebron right now, but lebron or shaq in his prime is pretty hard. shaq was dominant and has 4 rings. hes proved he can win with anyone. but right now Lebron. Good question though because they are both quite good. Shaq's years are just slipping away now.

Well first of all, you're mixing your metaphors because James is a forward and Shaq is a center. But if you're asking to choose our favorite big man, then I'd go with neither, and have to pick Dr. J, Julius Iriving. He practically authored style and finesse in the game, and could still rip your face apart with his atomic dunks. He was arguably the best player of his era - something that I think means more then than it did now. NBA basketball today is strictly All-Star, One-On-One crap. And everybody has their own shoe. What the hell ever happened to "Love of the Game"?
In my opinion, talent aside, James and Shaq have egos and attitudes that completely negate whatever skills they do indeed posess. Dr. J was the epitome of class AND skill - something that has been lost to this generation of basketball players.

Sorry, I don't know how you can say to choose between lebron and shaq, because they are two different players. Their style and position are totally different. You can ask me to choose between Wade and James (I would choose Wade), but don't ask me to choose between shaq and James, that makes no sense to me .Better yet ask me to choose between Shaq or Big Z (I don't know how to spell his name.

Lebron James..as a gaurd/forward. However Shaq is da man. Any team he goes to he takes them to a championship...orlando, he didn't win but he got there, Lakers won, Heat won! I wish chicago had him!!!!!

If i wanted to build a young future team i would take bron bron
but if i had a team full of veterans who just wanna win 1 like iverson nash peja garnett ray allen starbury webber i would take shaq to help get those vets a ring
