I think that Lawyers appreciate themselves enough for all of us, every day. I would, however, vote for a "personal favorite lawyer day" - that lawyer who has done the most good that year :)

Anything for another holiday.

Walmart day
Starbucks day
Haliburton day
Lockheed-Martin day
Oppenheimer day

idgaf

I can count our observed national holidays on my two hands.

New Years, MLK (sometimes), Presidents' day, Easter, Memorial day, Independance Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.

We need something ???? big so I can get a whole week off.
Like:
"We saved the planet from apocalypse week"
"Perpetual motion machine week"
"We found the cure for mortality week"

But I'm totally cool with Warren Buffet day or week.

Who would be more appropriate for a national appreciation day than a bunch of ambulance chasers. After all the acquisition of money be any means but working is a dream job.

Certainly not, I do not see any reason we should appreciate lawyers. The good ones overcharge and the court appointed ones are no good.

I would vote...I would vote against celebrating anything lawyer related. With vehemence.

While they certainly have their uses, I would say no. I worked for them for long enough. Many of them have egos that are just enormous.
