Just say it this way --> YELLOW-BLUE BUS
Don't forget to substitute 'B' in 'BUS' by 'V', so you get "yellow-blue vas", which has the same meaning... By the way, "ya poliubil tebya" can be used ONLY by males, a female should say "Ya poliubilA tebya" :-)

Some dialects of English pronounce it as 'thee' before a vowel or a silent h, using the same rule as a and an. Thee hour. The 'thee' pronunciation can also be used for emphasis, such as, "I saw the President today." "What, the(e) President of the USA?" I say it myself and think it's British English, but it's not used much in Australia.

Well you can say "Ye"(Ya) "llow Blue"(liublu) "Bus"(vas) and switch around the last 2 words. And for "Ya poliubil tebya", you can say the beginning of "(Ye)llow", the, "(po-l)o", the and "oo" sound, then "bill" then a soft "a" sound and finally "bus".
Hope my mini-lesson improves your Russian skills :-)!

Ya - like beginning of "young". You[ng]
vas - like beginning of "vast". Vas[t]
l - very soft
iu - "you" (almost exactly). The trick is to pronounce soft sound "l" and "you" together.
bliu - almost like a "blue", but you finish with "you" again.

Altogether now! You[ng] vas[t] l'-you bl[ue]-you
