I have a portable CD player (SONY) and it doesn't work any more. it just keeps spinning and making weird noises (not out of the headphones, but out of the actual player) and doesn't play. what's the problem and how to fix it?

You played so much crappy music on it that it comitted suicide.
I'd tell you to get another one but it will probably do the same thing after it gets its fill.

It'd be cheaper to just buy a new one, and alot less hassle. Think about getting a cheap mp3 too. ;)
