I can't figure out what to do!! I want to do something fun, but I have no ideas. I was thinking about going away for the weekend, but because money is short this month I need some ideas that are not too expensive.

Go camping (tent style) with your friends while the weather permits it. Look for a place that is not more than 2-3 hours from where you live so that you don't spend too much time on the road. Most seasoned campers take it slow (making stops whenever they feel like it and just enjoying the time and trip together). Select a place where there is a night life (juice bars for 21 and under, dance clubs, etc.). If your money is really limited, bring unprepared food and cook at the campsite. I'm sure you know how to bar-b-que or do some burgers, hot dogs and such. Otherwise, be content with nearby bagel shop and cafe in the morning, Mickey D's for lunch and some finger food in the evening with the usual drinks that you stole from the bar back home (he he he, just kidding).
Camping is not expensive at all. It is an experience somewhat in the wilds and it is perfect especially with friends. If there is river rafting or kayaking, then it would be more than perfect.
I don't know if at this time there are still openings at campsites because we are in the middle of summer. But you can try and let your fingers do the walking ((try the internet, too). Otherwise, chip in with the room rates at a hotel or motel. Most of them accept up to 4 adults to a room.
So go out and enjoy the sun, the beach, whatever. Good Luck.

I think that you should have a dinner party at a nice restuarant in honor of your 20th birthday. you should invite people and have a good time celebrating 20. Happy Birthday!!

If you're close to the border, go to Canada. Legal drinking age is lower there.
