foxpro is a data base package similar to dbase and it was extensively used during the 1990s. After windows operating system came the usage slowly declined and nowadays many are using oracle and microsoft access.

Foxpro is a computer programming language like vb, vc, etc..

it is more of an outdated programming language now. so if you r planning to learn it, unless u have an oppurtinity, dont go for it...try something new like Java or .NET.
